Hello Everyone, 

As I continue with my Junior year, I’ve had to replenish a few of my school supplies. While I was able to easily do that, many students around the world are not like kids in Sri Lanka right now. These young students are very academically driven but don’t have access or are not economically able to buy their own supplies for school. 

So, I’ve decided to start a donation drive to help these underprivileged students so that they have the tools they need for a successful academic school year. I will be collecting monetary donations and using them to buy the supplies. Ms. Erandika Dulani, a Child Rights Promoting Officer at the Dimbulagala District will be supervising the distribution of the supplies. We will be buying these items from local stores in Sri Lanka to help a small business in need during these financially difficult times. My goal is to raise $800 for this donation drive. I will be collecting these donations from now through June.
